Job Description

SABG is hiring a Technical Specialist II Crisis Action/Watch Cell Policy Analyst/Scheduler to support Headquarters U.S. Space Force Current Operations Division.

JOB TITLE: Technical Specialist II - C2 Watch Cell CAT/COOP Analyst/Scheduler

CLEARANCE: Clearance TS/SCI

LOCATION: Pentagon (Arlington, Virginia)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expertise in Crisis Action Team and watch cell processes and activities to include continuity programs.

Developing, populate and maintain Space Watch Center schedule process to include personnel surge activities.

Interfacing and coordinating with HQ USSF Staff to ensure watch rosters are filled out and current.

Assist the government in scheduling personnel to support the Space Watch Center to include training, exercises, simulations, tabletop exercises, and evaluations, to ensure Watch Cell proficiency and certifications.

Draft and coordinate on regulation, manuals, directives, and instructions.

Staff and communicate written and verbally with Senior Space Force leadership

SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent military staff skills, Crisis Action or Watch Center experience, and knowledge in scheduling shift work with both permanent and augmentation personnel. High attention to detail.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree mandatory, plus 5 years of experience in office administration, personnel, policy, analysis, MS Office Suite

2 years' experience at a service level headquarters

Experience working a military crisis action team or watch cell equivalent

In depth knowledge of service and Joint command and control

HIGHLY DESIRED:

4+ Years of Higher Headquarters experience

Crisis Action Team or Command Post experience

Instructional Systems Design experience

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Proficiency in SharePoint.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
