Jefferson is seeking a Senior Pricing Strategist to support Jefferson's Business Development Team .

This is a remote position. This position requires that applicants reside in the United States and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Applicants must maintain U.S. residency for the duration of their employment.

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000.00-$190,000.00. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

Jefferson Solutions is seeking a strategic pricing leader with deep expertise across both traditional Federal acquisition pricing and modern commercial monetization models. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Architect and scale enterprise capability that bridges FAR based procurement requirements with innovative commercial pricing structures.
  • Analyze customer requirements, procurement behaviors, budget constraints, and evaluation criteria to assess competitive positioning and win probability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed proposal pricing models and spreadsheets, and prepare clear, compliant pricing narratives that substantiate assumptions, methodologies, and proposed costs for submission.
  • Collaborate with Capture Managers, Business Development teams, and technical stakeholders to assess competitor positioning and inform PTW/STW strategies.
  • Perform Competitive Intelligence: Deep-diving into competitor profiles, cost benchmarking, historical pricing patterns, and teaming habits.
  • Perform Customer & Budget Analysis: Analyzing agency procurement behaviors, spending limits, and evaluation criteria (e.g., LPTA vs. Best Value or solutions vs. outcome-based activities) to gauge win probability.
  • Actively participate in Executive Advisory Support: Delivering strategic briefings to C-suite executives and capture managers to guide \"bid/no-bid\" decisions, teaming strategy and other control gate decisions.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, cost estimation, or federal proposal pricing.
  • Compliance Oversight : 7+ years ensuring all competitive pricing models align with Federal regulations like the FAR and DFARS.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (macro-modeling, scenario analysis), familiarity with parametric tools (like SEER or ProPricer ), and increasingly, the use of AI-driven market intelligence tools .
  • Education : A bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting, Economics, or Engineering strongly desired.
  • U.S. Citizenship


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain one
  • Project/ rogram Management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, SAFE CSM, CGFM desired
