Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to support financial management and systems modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting federal financial operations, business transformation efforts, or financial systems implementations in classified government environments.
This role will work directly with client financial management organizations, system integrators, and mission stakeholders to support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of financial systems and business processes. The successful candidate will help bridge the gap between finance, operations, and technology by gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, supporting system deployments, and contributing to modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning, implementation, enhancement, and sustainment of federal financial management systems and related business processes.
• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from financial management, budget, accounting, and operational stakeholders.
• Assist in evaluating current-state and future-state financial system architectures and business processes.
• Conduct process mapping, workflow analysis, and requirements documentation to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvement.
• Support system integration activities, interface analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment efforts.
• Analyze financial data flows between enterprise systems and assist in identifying process gaps, system issues, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with government personnel, technical teams, and external stakeholders to support system modernization initiatives.
• Assist with legacy system transition activities, data validation efforts, and business process re-engineering initiatives.
• Prepare project documentation, meeting materials, status reports, and client briefings for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support compliance with federal financial management requirements, internal controls, audit readiness initiatives, and security requirements.
• Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working groups to facilitate requirements gathering and solution development.
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience supporting Intelligence Community, DoD, or Federal Civilian agencies.
• Experience supporting government financial systems implementations, upgrades, migrations, or modernization projects.
• Understanding of federal budgeting, accounting, financial operations, or resource management processes.
• Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, and system functionality.
• Familiarity with business process analysis, requirements management, and change management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 100% on site with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced client environment.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience supporting Intelligence Community CFO organizations, resource management offices, or financial management directorates.
• Familiarity with federal financial systems such as Oracle Federal Financials, Momentum, SAP, Delphi, CGI, G-Invoicing, Treasury systems, or related platforms.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, financial data management, or system integration efforts.
• Understanding of PPBE, federal appropriations, funds execution, budget formulation, or audit readiness initiatives.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies and business process re-engineering efforts.
• Experience preparing executive-level briefings, reports, and project deliverables.
• Working knowledge of Agile project delivery methodologies.
• Relevant certifications such as CDFM, CGFM, CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CISA, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
