Position Overview
Fusion Innovation is seeking a Mid/Senior Defense and Intelligence Liaison to facilitate coordination, communication, and collaboration between military and intelligence stakeholders. The successful candidate will draw on command staff experience and familiarity with intelligence environments to build effective working relationships, navigate organizational processes, and support shared mission objectives. This role requires a service-oriented professional who can provide assistance and guidance, communicate across organizational boundaries, and adapt to evolving priorities and work requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison between military and intelligence stakeholders, facilitating timely communication and coordination.
Build and maintain productive working relationships with staff, leadership, and mission partners.
Support the exchange of information and coordination of requests, requirements, and actions across organizations.
Help stakeholders understand and navigate organizational processes, structures, and communication channels.
Provide assistance, instruction, and guidance to support effective collaboration and resolution of coordination challenges.
Participate in meetings and working groups, communicate relevant updates, and track follow-up actions.
Prepare correspondence, briefings, summaries, and other materials to support stakeholder engagement and informed decision-making.
Identify coordination gaps and recommend practical improvements to communication and workflow.
Adjust activities and priorities in response to changing mission needs and work requirements.

Required Skills
Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience serving on a command staff as a civilian or uniformed military member at the O-5, CW-4, or GS-14 level.
Experience working within or directly with the intelligence community.
Demonstrated willingness to offer assistance and instruction to stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.

Desired Skills
Experience serving in a Joint Duty Assignment.
Knowledge of the relationships between military and intelligence organizations.
Experience navigating defense organizational processes and procedures.
Ability to work effectively within the distinct cultures and structures of military and intelligence environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Details
Fusion Innovation anticipates the annual base salary for this position will generally range from $100,000 to $215,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to:

Relevant education, certifications, and training
Years of direct applicable experience with this work and the customer
Contract labor category requirements, skill level, contract bill rate, and hours allocation
Alignment with the position's responsibilities
Additional specialized skills

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be considered for discretionary bonuses and are eligible for Fusion Innovation's comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, company-sponsored retirement contributions, paid leave, professional development opportunities, and other employee benefits.
