What You Will Do
As a Sr Principal RF SME in the HWIL Department, you will report directly to the Department Leader. You will primarily be asked to support critical efforts in a tiger team like environment. The types of tasks you may be asked to support range from quick turn proposal development, helping troubleshoot technical issues, supporting the development of gate reviews and the development of a Program plan. When critical issues pop up in the Department, the DL will work with the Sr Principal RF SME to help resolve the critical issue. The expectation is that the Sr Principal SME will both help to solve the issue and mentor the current team. The Sr Principal RF SME will not be placed on any Program for a long-term period of time. This allows the Sr Principal RF SME to have cognizance over numerous Programs within the Department thus growing the knowledge base across multiple SBUs.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

- Critical Leadership skills on a large-scale Program both from a Program perspective as well as from a functional perspective.
- Experience working across numerous functions from engineering to finance to security to supply chain and multiple Program Offices.
Qualifications You Must Have *
- A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
- Troubleshooting and integration experience within the HWIL Department.
- Experience with integration and troubleshooting of various HWIL Test Environments.
- Experience working with stakeholders from outside of HWIL to ensure Program needs are being met.
- Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organization, coordination, planning and teaming skills.
- Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation, electronics maintenance, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
- Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, bus analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
- Experience leading multi-disciplined teams.
- Experience with Agile Process.
- Experience with gate reviews.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
