Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers (U.S. Citizen, TS

Task Force Talent is recruiting data scientists and machine learning engineers for a client that builds AI and analytics systems for government customers. Openings are in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Salary range: $140K to $230K, depending on experience level.

Full-time, hybrid: remote work combined with on-site work at customer locations.

U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI only. An active polygraph is not required, but applicants must be willing to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph. We cannot sponsor clearances or visas.

The work:

• Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models.


• Develop data pipelines and analytics for large, mixed-format data sets.


• Work with software engineers to put models into production systems.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI.


• Strong Python and SQL.


• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.


• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or large language models is useful for some roles.


• Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Senior roles typically require 5 or more years of experience.


• Willingness to take a counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.
