Job Description
Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead mechanical design and electronics packaging for high-speed networking hardware systems.
• Develop SolidWorks CAD models, detailed documentation, and GD&T specifications for fabrication and assembly.
• Conduct thermal and mechanical simulations in Ansys while integrating EMI/EMC shielding and environmental sealing.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $254k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Drive mechanical hardware development and electronic packaging for networking devices within datacenter rack constraints.
• Perform finite element analysis, including thermal and structural modeling in Ansys.
• Create and maintain precision CAD models, engineering drawings, and GD&T documentation using SolidWorks.
• Implement EMI/EMC shielding and environmental sealing solutions to ensure hardware integrity.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering teams and leverage Agile/Scrum methodologies to coordinate prototype bring-up.
• Partner with fabrication vendors to oversee parts manufacturing, quality inspection, and final assembly.
