Job Description
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Be an integral team member supporting development, integration, and deployment of advanced processing instrumentation and software for data collection activities. Support data collection and data analysis during and post system field test events. Develop and improve current instrumentation. Design, integrate and test new instrumentation for use in field activities. Capable of designing with a mixed use of COTS hardware and custom hardware. Hands on experience building system components into a fielded instrumentation system. (Soldering, wiring, some workshop skills) Support field test activities at a variety of US military test ranges to collect data on systems under test.

QUALIFICATIONS: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 2+ years of experience. Experience in analog and digital electronics with knowledge of signal, image, and data processing. Experience in component and system hardware design. Knowledge in some or several of these areas is preferred:
Xilinx SOC FPGA hardware design using RTL in VHDL and embedded software design.
Printed Circuit Board design and integration.
Electronic component and sub-system design and integration.
Familiar with Aerospace wiring best practices for systems.
Design and Development of electronics modules.
Design and Development of wiring harnesses and packaging of electronics in chassis.
Data acquisition electronics for electro-optical and infrared sensors.
Experience with AI development a plus.
Experience with Optics and Lasers a plus.
Programming experience with any of the following: C/C++, MATLAB, Python, Labview.
Support instrumentation data extraction and analysis for test result reporting.
Able to travel. Position can be heavy on travel to test events.
Position supports a US Government contract. U. S. citizenship required and ability to obtain a DOD Secret

Clearance. Existing DOD Secret Clearance preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year depending on experience
