Available Shifts:
Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am
Wednesday - Sunday 10pm - 6am
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & Maintenance
Monitor, manage, and maintain servers, operating systems, and key applications.
Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to systems in accordance with change management procedures.
Perform routine system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
User Support & Troubleshooting
Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues from help desk/Tier 1 teams.
Diagnose and resolve system, application, and network-related problems.
Assist with user account management, permissions, and access controls.
Implementation & Configuration
Install, configure, and deploy new systems, applications, and tools.
Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
Document system configurations, procedures, and standards.
Security & Compliance
Ensure systems adhere to security best practices and organizational policies.
Help implement and monitor security controls such as antivirus, endpoint protection, firewalls, and access management.
Participate in audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities.
Monitoring & Reporting
Use monitoring tools to track system performance, availability, and capacity.
Respond to alerts, incidents, and outages, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Prepare reports on system health, incidents, and improvements for management.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Collaborate with IT teams (network, security, applications, help desk) on cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Contribute to the development and refinement of IT processes, standards, and documentation.
Provide input on technology selection and system architecture improvements.
Requirements:
Five years of relevant technical experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional 5 years may be substituted for a degree)
IAT Level 1 Required (A+, Network+, or Security+)
Minimum Security Clearance
TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
