LEAD Endeavors is seeking proactive full-time Declassification Review Service Specialists for an upcoming program at Fort Meade, Maryland who are searching for increased job satisfaction and career advancement opportunities with a small but dynamic company.

Qualifications/Abilities You Bring:
• High school diploma;
• top secret clearance with polygraph; and
• declassification and review experience
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Perform Automatic Declassification Reviews, Mandatory Declassification Reviews, and Systematic Declassification Reviews;
• recommend derivative declassification decisions or continued classification by interpreting and applying guidance from approved Classification and Declassification Guides;
• document clear and concise notes on document reviews;
• maintain the Electronic Records dictionary of Declassification Services Terms and Acronyms;
• answer the public FOIA/PA telephone line and respond to routine questions from outside callers with Government-supplied answers to frequently asked questions;
• view each record and make recommendations as to whether the information remains appropriately classified and its potential for release;
• enter metadata into the Government processing system to facilitate the recall of the documents in support of future research; and
• deliver proactive customer service via direct interactions, such as email, phone, or in-person consultations, to assist users in navigating the prepublication process and resolving any obstacles.
