Job Description
$163,000 – $178,000 per year, plus an additional 25% ($40,750 – $44,500) in fully and immediately vested employer 401(k) contributions.
Total Compensation (Salary + 401(k)): $203,750 – $222,500 per year
Position Overview
You will develop and refine the software that brings AI capabilities into the Computer Network Operations (CNO) workflows used by analysts and operators. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will connect diverse data sources and external APIs through Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, ensuring AI tooling is stable, reliable, scalable, and cleanly integrated into the customer's existing toolset.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop production agentic integrations in Python that leverage multiple AI models, APIs, and data sources.
• Build tools and agentic workflows using modern frameworks such as PydanticAI, LangGraph, and DeepAgents.
• Engage mission stakeholders to elicit requirements and design solutions.
• Navigate customer data types to identify and extract relevant information.
• Partner with fellow software engineers to test workflows, surface issues, and recommend pathways to resolution.
Required Qualifications
• Proficiency in Python, particularly handling JSON, interacting with REST APIs, and manipulating data.
• Experience querying and accessing data through HTTP-based APIs.
• Understanding of AI development concepts, including prompt engineering, context management, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.
• Familiarity with Git source control and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience presenting data analysis results to customers.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with retrieval systems such as RAG, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Practical experience in one or more AI domains (e.g., intelligent systems, autonomy, planning, LLMs).
• GitLab CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in cybersecurity or an understanding of security operations workflows.
• Basic knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
• Familiarity with production CNO capabilities and operations.
Experience & Education
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 4 additional years of experience in place of a B.S.
