Summary:
The Junior Program Analyst provides operational support of program administration, including preparation and delivery of critical documentation, project reconciliation, liaising with the implementing partner, development of new or modified processes, and arrangements for U.S. government speakers. The Junior Program Analyst works with staff from the division to implement more than 580 traveling and virtual programs annually, supporting America First priorities.

Salary range for this position is $107,000.00 to $117,000.00 annually.

The Junior Program Analyst works with staff from the division to implement more than 580 traveling and virtual programs annually, supporting America First priorities.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain direct contact with the implementing partner regarding grant issuance and coordinate direct support of speaker payment with implementing partner and staff.
- Analyze data to ensure compliance with established policy and guidelines, confirming program cost effectiveness.
- Ensure seamless, efficient pre-program support for traveling U.S. speakers, utilizing several databases to access for speaker enrollment and participation.
- Create and maintain electronic database files and records of grant activities, reconciling payment disbursement/ticket costs and final project costs as necessary.
- Manage all logistical and financial arrangements for USG-employee speakers.
- Analyze and resolve problems and present recommendations for administrative changes and assist in developing new program initiatives.
- Develop new or modified administrative program work methods, approaches, or procedures for delivering effective services and programs to include innovative platforms, tools, and/or initiatives.

- Proficient with software, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and an ability to learn and use other software and database applications daily
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience providing division, administrative, and financial services to implement exchange programs.
- Experience planning and securing documents needed for foreign travel including tickets, vouchers, hotel accommodations, and per diem.
- Experience monitoring various administrative and management activities, systems, operations, and procedures, related to maintaining and tracking information.
- Experience collecting data and preparing reports for briefings and presentations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
