Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Intelligence Team Lead to support a mission-critical intelligence program supporting the Defense Intelligence Enterprise. This individual will serve as the primary leader responsible for contract execution, personnel management, customer engagement, and overall program performance. The ideal candidate is an accomplished intelligence professional with extensive leadership experience overseeing all-source analysis teams, delivering high-quality intelligence products, and supporting senior government decision-makers.

Position Overview

The Senior Intelligence Team Lead will oversee the day-to-day management of contract operations, ensuring successful execution across technical, financial, staffing, and programmatic objectives. The selected candidate will provide leadership to a team of intelligence professionals and subcontractors while serving as the primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COTR) and other senior customer stakeholders.

This role requires expertise in managing labor-hour, level-of-effort (LOE), and completion-based contract vehicles, as well as a working knowledge of cost-reimbursable contract structures. The successful candidate will maintain schedule, cost, and technical baselines while ensuring mission requirements are met through effective planning, execution, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of contract performance, including technical execution, staffing, financial oversight, and program reporting.
Manage and supervise government-contracted personnel and subcontractors supporting intelligence analysis missions.
Serve as the primary liaison between Zachary Piper Solutions, government customers, and key stakeholders.
Direct analytical efforts to ensure timely, accurate, and mission-focused intelligence production.
Develop staffing plans, labor mix strategies, and resource allocation recommendations to support contract requirements.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of qualified personnel.
Monitor program budgets, contract funding, subcontractor performance, and financial execution metrics.
Prepare forecasts and reports related to program performance, contract status, staffing, and financial health.
Maintain technical, schedule, and cost baselines in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
Ensure contract deliverables are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
Coordinate employee onboarding activities, security crossovers, orientations, and timekeeping processes.
Mentor analysts and team leads while fostering professional development and mission excellence.
Collaborate with government leadership to define requirements, establish priorities, and set performance expectations.
Review intelligence products for quality, analytical rigor, and compliance with Intelligence Community standards.
Required Qualifications
Clearance
Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis.
At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory, management, or team lead role.
Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience supporting Defense Intelligence Enterprise programs and intelligence production requirements.
Intelligence & Mission Expertise
Expert-level knowledge of threats impacting the Western Hemisphere, including the Americas, transnational criminal organizations, homeland defense, and the Golden Dome for America mission.
Extensive experience working across Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) organizations and Defense Intelligence Enterprise stakeholders.
Deep understanding of customer policies, programs, and processes throughout the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.
Familiarity with OUSD(I&S) requirements, Combatant Command (CCMD) J2 missions, and Intelligence Community analytic standards.
Leadership Experience
Proven success leading teams of intelligence analysts in dynamic operational environments.
Experience assigning workloads, managing priorities, reviewing production quality, and conducting performance evaluations.
Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities with a focus on team development and mission success.
Ability to effectively engage with senior government leadership, including SES, Flag Officers, and Senior Executive stakeholders.
Analytic Tradecraft
Expert knowledge of ICD 203 and ICD 206 Analytic Standards, including:
Source evaluation and validation
Structured analytic techniques
Expression of uncertainty
Intelligence sourcing requirements
Analytic objectivity and rigor
Demonstrated ability to enforce analytic standards across intelligence production teams.
AI & Emerging Technology Experience
Experience integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities into intelligence workflows.
Understanding of AI-supported collection triage, anomaly detection, pattern-of-life analysis, capability assessments, and intelligence modernization initiatives.
Ability to identify and operationalize Large Language Models (LLMs) and classified AI environments for:
Intelligence summarization
Entity extraction
Document exploitation
Automated reporting
Knowledge management initiatives
Technical Skills
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience utilizing Intelligence Community analytic tools and platforms such as:
Palantir
Analyst Notebook
Intelink
Classified cloud environments
Other mission-relevant intelligence analysis systems
Additional Qualifications
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong presentation and briefing experience for senior government audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced mission environment.
Demonstrated commitment to excellence, collaboration, and customer success.
