Job Description

USSF Project Manager

Location:        National Capital Region (NCR)

Clearance:      TS/SCI

Education:     Master’s Degree

Outcomes:

·         The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes in the first year on the position:

·         Generate and provide administrative support for executive level products (ex. Slides, meeting minutes, strategic reports, etc.) using a suite of Microsoft products.

·         Perform accurate, high quality, and timely work which leads to positive Government Performance Feedback.

Responsibilities:

The primary objective of this task order is to assist the Headquarters United
States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) in organizational planning,
implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ Space Force. To further the process of
developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team
continues to implement a multi-phased, (multi-year), plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial
operating capacity to full operational capacity.

The Program Manager will be specifically responsible for coordinating efforts, tracking progress, identifying requirements, and support communication efforts between senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Functions and Tasks:

·         Coordinate action within the applicable division, other divisions, HQ Space Staff and all other relevant stakeholders

·         Track progress on design/development/delivery of systems and/or capabilities to meet current and emerging mission requirements

·         Interface and perform Space Force strategy and plans-related analysis and
support with key stakeholders.

·         Determine future service force requirements.

·         Assist in generating reports on latest research, analysis and studies in data management and related efforts.

·         Lead digital transformation initiatives by leveraging artificial intelligence, advanced data analytics, and emerging technologies to enhance data-driven insights, and support senior-leader strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

·         Master’s Degree with a preference for studies in management or related fields

(or) Bachelor’s Degree and an additional eight (8) years of relevant experience.

·         Ten (10) years of experience in Program or Project Management.

The following qualifications are desired:

·         PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (CPMAI) Certification

·         PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

·         Progressive experience in high-level technical and organizational support services.

·         Advanced experience with ETS/ETMS2, Envision, SharePoint workflows and Power BI.

Travel: Travel may be required to attend customer meetings, program reviews, training events, or mission-related activities as directed.
