Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Provide operational Linux systems administration, system troubleshooting, and technical customer support for a large-scale cloud analytics platform.
• Maintain day-to-day infrastructure stability across distributed big data and container technologies.
• Deliver Tier 1 through Tier 3 operational support in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Deliver operational systems administration and troubleshooting across RedHat and CentOS Linux environments.
• Support containerized workloads and cluster orchestration utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot distributed data storage and analytics platforms including Hadoop, HDFS, and Accumulo.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to streamline operational workflows.
• Assist with infrastructure automation and configuration management using Salt or Ansible.
• Monitor platform performance, system metrics, and operational health using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Perform Linux networking analysis, DNS administration, and system provisioning.
