Summary:
• Support daily platform operations and infrastructure stability across enterprise Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot operational platform issues, manage system provisioning, and perform network analysis.
• Sustain and optimize cloud-based analytic platforms leveraging Kubernetes, Hadoop, Accumulo, and AWS.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 operational and infrastructure support across Linux-based environments
• Support daily operations, sustainment, and optimization of cloud-based enterprise platforms
• Provision systems and manage configurations using RedHat/CentOS kickstart, Salt, and Ansible
• Conduct network diagnostics and troubleshooting using tools such as nmap and tcpdump
• Administer network services including DNS and DHCP
• Support containerized, distributed, and open-source technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo
• Monitor platform performance and health utilizing Prometheus and Grafana
• Automate administrative and operational tasks using Python and Bash scripting
• Fulfill on-call operational requirements to ensure 24/7 mission support
