Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Outline, develop, and implement robust data engineering and systems engineering solutions within a Linux environment.
• Model data transformation routines, document data flows, and support ingestion into enterprise repositories using NiFi and database platforms.
• Provide technical direction across the full systems engineering life cycle and define interface and architectural requirements under agile frameworks.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $290k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Outline, develop, and implement enterprise-level data engineering and systems engineering solutions.
• Identify, map, and model data transformation routines to support ingestion and routing across multiple concurrent data sets.
• Work extensively with data ontologies, schemas, and structured data formats including XML, CSV, and JSON within a Linux environment.
• Design, maintain, and optimize database and dataflow implementations utilizing NiFi, MySQL, and NoSQL systems.
• Provide end-to-end technical direction and trade analyses across the full systems engineering life cycle to optimize system operations, cost, and scalability.
• Fully define software interface specifications in terms of origination, destination, stimulus, and data characteristics.
• Implement comprehensive Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions and maintain configuration control of hardware and software components.
• Support system monitoring, reporting, and query capabilities utilizing Java and Splunk.
• Collaborate within an Agile development model to integrate COTS and GOTS products and deliver secure, compliant solutions.
