Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Perform watch desk and systems engineering duties on rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Monitor enterprise system health, performance, and data pipelines across distributed environments.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, network, and dataflow issues within Linux and cloud infrastructures.
• Contribute to comprehensive system architecture, requirements analysis, technical documentation, and interface definition.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 20+ years
• Total Compensation: $320k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead system design and development activities while providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements and technology.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct technical feasibility studies.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems smoothly into ongoing 24/7 operations.
• Develop comprehensive system architecture documentation, design artifacts, and systems engineering management plans.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through the preparation and execution of integration and test (I&T) plans.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of systems engineering deliverables and work performed.
• Monitor and maintain system components utilizing tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, NiFi, Elasticsearch, Redis, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Communicate system status, technical considerations, and operational issues with program personnel and leadership.
