DevSecOps Engineer
- Turtle Gut Location: King of Prussia, PA, 19406 | Contract About the Role Join Turtle Gut in shaping the future of space as a DevSecOps Engineer. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in integrating cutting-edge technologies into our software development lifecycle, ensuring robust security, reliability, and mission success across our space technology initiatives. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable development infrastructure for mission-critical systems
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins to streamline secure software deployments
- Perform system administration tasks supporting development and operations teams, ensuring high availability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer and mission requirements into software and hardware solutions
- Integrate security best practices, conduct risk assessments, and implement automated security testing within development pipelines
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer security standards throughout the development lifecycle
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to process improvements
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve security and operational issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with evolving DevSecOps trends, security threats, and automation technologies Required Skills and Experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on DevSecOps experience
- Proficiency with Ansible and Terraform for automation
- Experience with Git, Linux (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux), and AWS or OpenStack
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm (or willingness to learn)
- Strong coding, scripting, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity standards, risk management, and compliance Preferred Skills
- Experience with ArgoCD, Platform-as-a-Service environments, and advanced Kubernetes operations
