Description
PQT Ayaquhs, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join our executive leadership team and lead the development and execution of the company's growth strategy across federal, state, local, and commercial government markets. The CGO will drive business development, strategic partnerships, and marketing initiatives to increase contract awards, revenue, and market share.
The Chief Growth Officer collaborates closely with operations, finance, delivery teams, and leadership to identify new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and position the company for sustainable long-term growth.
Note: The anticipated start date for this position is January 2027.
Expected base salary range: $175,000 - $200,000*
*applicable incentive programs will be discussed during the final interview phase.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Leadership
- Develops and executes a multi-year corporate growth strategy.
- Drives and delivers strong year-over-year business growth.
- Identifies emerging markets, agencies, contract vehicles, and technology trends.
- Establishes annual growth objectives aligned with corporate strategy.
- Builds and maintains a qualified opportunity pipeline.
- Lead strategic planning for new market expansion.
- Identify and convey strategic risks.
Business Development
- Develops relationships with executive leaders across federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Identifies and qualify new business opportunities.
- Leads customer engagement strategy.
- Maintains accurate opportunity forecasts and pipeline reporting.
- Oversees business development activities.
- Brings and maintains an expansive network that will aid in developing new business and growth opportunities to include active in relevant member organizations.
- Communicates our value proposition through technology centric mission solutions presentations and proposals.
- Analyzes multiple types of financial and market data, determine, verify, and validate the rationale behind the business pursuit of opportunities.
Contract Vehicle Strategy
- Develops strategy for obtaining and maximizing use of government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs), IDIQs, BPAs, and agency-specific vehicles.
- Evaluates investments in new contract vehicles.
- Maximizes utilization of existing contract portfolios.
Strategic Partnerships
- Develops alliances with large prime contractors as well as strategically important small business subs with complementary expertise.
- Establishes teaming agreements and joint ventures.
- Manages relationships with subcontractors and small business partners.
- Expands strategic industry partnerships.
Executive Leadership
- Serves as a member of the executive leadership team.
- Presents growth forecasts and strategic initiatives to the CEO and Board.
- Participates in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
- Builds and mentor a high-performing growth organization.
- Ensures departmental/unit strategic planning projects reflect organizational strategic priorities.
- Translates strategies into actionable and quantitative plans ad projects for subordinate teams.
- Ensures that appropriate metrics are in place to measure performance and progress towards strategic goals.
- Fosters a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, customer focus and service and encourages individual integrity.
- Maintains a positive and ethical work climate that is conducive to attracting, retaining and motivating a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels
- Ensures that there is an effective succession plan in place for the CGO position and other key executives of the Corporation reporting to the CGO
Work Environment:
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in government contracting.
- 10+ years leading business development and capture organizations.
- Demonstrated success winning large, complex government contracts including a track record in growing revenues, while continuing to improve program excellence (high utilization, meeting margin targets, focus on quality, customer satisfaction, etc.) and managing a full P&L.
- Experience with federal acquisition regulations and procurement processes.
- Experience managing executive customer relationships.
- Successful track record of building and managing a high-performance team with successful and profitable consultative relationships with key influencers.
- Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills are required, as are analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, GovWin, or Deltek Costpoint.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines under tight timelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver constructive feedback effectively.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or professional post-graduate degree in a related field.
