Manages the day-to-day activities for the Fort Irwin NEC and their complex Technical and non-Technical projects. Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Senior Program Manager and customer. Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

Responsibilities
- The Site Manager shall be technically qualified with administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, and engineering procedures.
- The Site Manager shall also be technically proficient in the areas of configuration, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of applicable OSP, NIPRNET and SIPRNET systems and devices, and Telephone Service operations.
- The Site Manager shall oversee operations and maintenance of equipment related to:
- configuration, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of applicable OSP, NIPRNET and SIPRNET systems and devices, and telephone services operations.
Qualifications
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.
- A recent or current System Administrator or Network Administrator experience with a BA or BS degree.
- 10 total years of total experience.
- Must have an IAT Level II Certification.
- Must be willing to work full time at Fort Irwin CA.
- Site Lead will be responsible for managing an onsite team of about 10-15 total FTE.
- Knowledge of VOIP / Telephone Service support operations, or the Remedy Ticketing System, or Plant Cable Technician Support Services is highly desired.
- Technically proficient in the areas of configuration, installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of applicable OSP, NIPRNET and SIPRNET systems and devices, and Telephone Service operations. The Site Manager shall oversee operations and maintenance of equipment.
- Must be telephonically available to the KO or COR from 7AM-5PM PST.
- Any clearance requirements for this position are established by the government contract.
