Insight Global is seeking an AFSIM Modeler to support Army Aviation modeling, simulation, experimentation, and capability development efforts. This individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and executing Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) scenarios to evaluate aviation platforms, weapons systems, sensors, networks, and emerging capabilities.
The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, analysts, and Army Aviation subject matter experts to translate real-world operational challenges into simulation-based analytical studies that support future force design and capability development decisions.
Responsibilities include:
Develop, maintain, and improve AFSIM models and mission scenarios.
Configure and execute simulation run sets to evaluate system performance and mission outcomes.
Model aviation platforms, sensors, weapons, missile systems, radar/electronic warfare capabilities, command and control networks, and related mission systems.
Create and maintain scripts and analytical tools to support simulation execution, data collection, and post-processing activities.
Support the development and modification of AFSIM plug-ins and extensions.
