SAP Transportation Management Functional Analyst

Note from Client -
• All candidates require an active in scope clearance on day 1, verification required
• All candidates will be required to travel 10% every 12 weeks
• Target joining date is 10/19/2026 or earlier.
• They are at SAFB but people can work remotely but will be required to travel once per quarter for a few days; please note we do not have employment agreements with CA and NY so we cannot employ persons who work remote in those states, however if they are willing to relocate we can still hire them.
Client is looking for a TM (Transportation Management) Functional Analyst to support our new program. This role involves designing, configuring, and optimizing Transportation Management solutions while ensuring seamless integration with Financial Accounting (FI), other SAP modules, and interfaces.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, configuration, and support of Transportation Management processes.
• Configure freight order management, planning, carrier selection, and execution.
• Oversee freight settlement and charge calculation processes.
• Support transportation cost visibility and analytics.
• Manage enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper integration between TM and Financial Accounting (FI) and relevant financial transactions.
• Configure freight settlement documents and invoice verification processes.
• Support automatic posting of freight costs within SAP and relevant interfaces on the government financial system of record.
• Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams on freight invoice reconciliation.
• Work closely with S4 HANA, TM, Financial Accounting, MM, SD, extended warehouse management, and interfaces for the financial system of record.a
