SAP TM Hazmat Functional Analyst

$85,000.00 To $130,000.00 Annually
Note from Client -
• All candidates require an active in scope clearance on day 1, verification required
• All candidates will be required to travel 10% every 12 weeks
• Target joining date is 10/19/2026 or earlier.
• They are at SAFB but people can work remotely but will be required to travel once per quarter for a few days; please note we do not have employment agreements with CA and NY so we cannot employ persons who work remote in those states, however if they are willing to relocate we can still hire them.
Client is looking for an SAP TM Hazmat Functional Analyst to support our new program. This role involves designing, configuring, and optimizing Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) management solutions within SAP Transportation Management, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and interfaces.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, configuration, and support of Hazmat management processes.
• Configure Hazmat order management, planning, carrier selection, and execution.
• Oversee Hazmat settlement and charge calculation processes.
• Support Hazmat cost visibility and analytics.
• Manage enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper integration between Hazmat Management and other SAP modules (e.g., TM, FI, MM, SD).
• Configure Hazmat settlement documents and invoice verification processes.
• Support automatic posting of Hazmat costs within SAP and relevant interfaces.
• Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams on Hazmat invoice reconciliation.
• Work closely with S4 HANA, TM, Financial Accounting, MM, SD, extended warehouse management, and interfaces for the financial system of record.
