Senior Security Assistant - Air Force Programs

As a Senior Security Specialist, you will provide security support to Air Force programs within the HN organization at Hanscom AFB. This position will support program leadership and government customers by applying DoD security policies, processes, and requirements across program activities, ensuring security requirements are effectively implemented and maintained. An active Top Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

• • Delivering multi-disciplinary security support across information security, personnel security, operations security, industrial security, communications security, acquisition security, physical security, general security, and anti-terrorism/force protection.
  • Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing safeguards to protect personnel, property, facilities, information systems, and mission-critical operations.
  • Preventing unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss of sensitive information or assets.
  • Providing subject-matter expertise to program leadership, offering informed recommendations on security posture, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Assisting with the development and execution of security plans, procedures, and training programs.
  • Responding effectively to dynamic or emergent security situations with sound judgment and timely action.
• Ensuring security compliance with DoD, USAF, and program-specific requirements.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Top Secret Clearance
• 5+ years of experience supporting DoD or USAF programs, preferably within an acquisition environment.

The expected annual salary range: $118k - $129k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
