The Opportunity:

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) program is a premier Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) training enterprise, equipping Counterintelligence (CI) personnel with the advanced skills needed to protect our nation against evolving adversarial threats. JCITA's specialized training prepares CI Agents to counter espionage, terrorism, insider threats, and increasingly sophisticated foreign intelligence activities.

As the JCITA Instructor program continues to evolve in response to an increasingly complex CI landscape, CACI is seeking an experienced Advanced CI Investigations Course (ACIIC) Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will use your extensive investigative experience to develop and deliver advanced instruction that prepares CI Agents to conduct complex investigations and protect U.S. national security interests.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver world-class instruction for the Advanced CI Investigations Course (ACIIC), leveraging your operational expertise to prepare CI Agents for complex counterintelligence investigative missions.
• Plan, develop, and execute training and certification programs that prepare CI Agents to independently conduct full-scope counterintelligence investigations. Train students to determine whether individuals are acting for or on behalf of a Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE), assess whether events are connected to FIE activities, and identify appropriate investigative actions and resolutions.
• Develop and teach investigative strategies that leverage the full range of CI functions, missions, and investigative capabilities in accordance with the DoD 5240 series.
• Instruct students on the effective use and application of CI investigative tools, including the legal authorities and procedures outlined in DoD Manual 5240.01 and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), as well as the preparation and use of affidavits and evidence.
• Deliver classroom-based instruction and evaluate student performance during practical field exercises. Training days frequently exceed eight hours, may include weekends, and require travel throughout the National Capital Region (NCR) and CONUS.
• Employ blended learning methodologies, incorporating eLearning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, assigned readings, case studies, role-playing scenarios, and practical demonstrations to develop and assess essential investigative skills.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph or the ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting full-scope CI investigations.
• Previous experience serving as a senior CI Investigator, with demonstrated experience conducting the full investigative cycle.
• Graduate of an accredited CI Special Agent credentialing school.
• Graduate of the JCITA National Security Investigations Course (NSIC), Advanced CI Investigations Course (ACIIC), Armed Forces Counterintelligence Training Center (AFCITC), or an equivalent Intelligence Community school.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,800 - $148,600
