Systems Engineer

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Systems Engineer to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. Candidates must be prepared to shepherd systems from inception through deployment. Candidate will work with a small, mission focused team that frequently interacts with users and the customer.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with system hardware/software integration and system deployments.
• Experience performing installation, relocation, removal and maintenance of fiber/cat5/6 cabling, cross connections, equipment cabinets, networking, and telecommunications equipment
• Experience installing, decommissioning, analyzing, testing and evaluation of activities within systems to assure the smooth integration of mission software and hardware.
• Ability to monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and or evaluate hardware/software, and other network related problems
• Experience performing Quality Assurance evaluations to assure systems build quality, reliability; maintainability and safety are as required.
• Proficiency in terminating a variety of cables to include; CAT-5/6, and fiber-optic cables.
• Experience with Fiber Optic Test Equipment including Meter and Optical Time Data Recorder (OTDR)
• Dell hardware support. Experience fixing or replacing parts in dell servers
• Familiarity with Dell, Arista, and Raritan hardware
