Job Description
Insight Global is actively hiring multiple Radar Systems Engineers specializing in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) to support the development of next-generation radar sensing, surveillance, and intelligence systems supporting a DoD Program out of Linthicum Maryland.
These engineers will play a critical role in the design, development, integration, testing, and performance optimization of advanced radar capabilities supporting defense, aerospace, and national security missions.
Minimum job requirements include:
- Bachelors Degree and 8+ years of Radar, EW, or RF Systems Engineering experience.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and developing advanced SAR radar capabilities for airborne, maritime, space, or ground-based platforms.
- Experience developing radar performance models and conduct trade studies on waveform design, resolution, detection performance, and system architecture.
- Strong understanding of SAR image formation algorithm development, optimization, and performance assessment.
- Experience performing modeling, simulation, and analysis of radar performance against operational scenarios.
- Experience developing and evaluating radar calibration techniques and image quality metrics.
- Participate in sensor integration, laboratory testing, field testing, and flight testing activities.
- Experience analyzing radar data collections and provide performance assessments and recommendations.
Insight Global is hiring Multiple candidates for these openings so exact pay will vary based on a number of factors including depth of knowledge, level of expertise, clearance level, and overall years of experience. However, we anticipate paying 200K - 250K for these openings. We will also be providing a comprehensive benefits package to include Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K benefits.
