You’ll architect front‑door workflows, implement Flow Designer and Integration Hub patterns, and build catalog items that streamline IT support, business intake, and access requests.

Key Responsibilities


In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

• 
  Building automation-heavy workflows and front door experiences in IC environments.


• 
  Implementation of Flow Designer and Integration Hub patterns (approvals, routing, notifications, and orchestration).


• 
  Building and extending catalog items, such as for IT support and service requests, new business requirements intake (demand-style), or visit or access requests.


• 
  Supporting PPM module configuration buildout (forms, flows, and templates).


• 
  Creating reusable subflows (approval chains, task pack generation, SLA timers, and escalations).


• 
  Working with the CAM (Continuous Authorization Monitoring) module in relation to A&A processes or RMF tasks or evidence requests.


• 
  Leading process mapping and future-state design for various types of processes.


• 
  Writing user stories, documenting user acceptance criteria.


• 
  Managing VAT testing.


• 
  Training ServiceNow users.


• 
  Facilitating workshops with ISSO/ISSM, system owners, or PMOs.


• 
  Creating SOPs and quick reference guides.

Highly Desired Qualifications


Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

• 
  Providing change management support for thousands of users


• 
  Increasing adoption of ServiceNow tools


• 
  Implementing form validation and conditional logic to enforce "vetting."


• 
  Building integrations with; identity or group lookups; evidence storage links (SharePoint/Confluence/file store) with access control; or eMASS or other RMF systems (even if only one-way status sync).


• 
  Optimizing a Virtual Agent or chat-to-ticket functions.


• 
  Building role-based training in ServiceNow for:

  Supporting Sponsor A&A processes; building or extending catalog items for Authorization and Assessment (A&A) tasks; Risk Management Framework (RMF) tasks; or for evidence requests.

  Supporting PPM configuration buildouts such as forms, flows, templates.

  Creating reusable subflows such as approval chains, task pack generation, SLA timers, or escalations.

  Leading process mapping and future-state design for enterprise intake and vetting, demanding which support the project lifecycle, RMF A&A lifecycle aligned to Research Development Support Activity (RDSA) RMF SOPs, and security paperwork (visit requests) lifecycle and approval chain.

  Writing user stories and acceptance criteria and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


• 
  Providing training on ServiceNow custom workflows.


• 
  Helping users adjust to changes related to the implementation or enhancement of a ServiceNow instance with 2.5k users.


• 
  Providing ServiceNow training, writing knowledge base articles, and helping to market ServiceNow internally to program resources, with a goal of increased adoption of the tool.


• 
  Facilitating workshops with Sponsor Security (ISSO or ISSM), system owners, AO reps, or PMO.


• 
  Creating SOPs and quick reference guides.
