Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Design, implement, and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS utilizing Terraform and Helm.
• Develop scalable application components with Java and React while integrating messaging solutions including ActiveMQ and Kafka.
• Manage containerized platform workloads across Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch within Linux systems.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $273k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure following established governance requirements.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.
• Build and maintain robust software solutions utilizing Java and modern front-end frameworks like React.
• Configure and manage distributed messaging and event-driven architectures utilizing Kafka and ActiveMQ.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Establish observability, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch.
• Implement and test disaster recovery, automated failover, and high-availability operational strategies.
• Perform cost optimization, rightsizing, autoscaling, and performance tuning across cloud environments.
• Provide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for networking, security, and Linux-based infrastructure issues.
• Author technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architectural diagrams to support system maintenance and knowledge sharing.
