Job Title: Senior Technical Policy Analyst | GPS/PNT Programs (TS/SCI)
Employment: Direct Placement to Insight Global’s client, a niche government engineering contractor specializing in GPS, PNT, space operations, and electronic warfare. The company supports military, civilian, and intelligence customers with systems engineering, technical program management, policy support, testing, training, and interagency coordination for national-level PNT initiatives.

Address: 401 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20230.
Onsite: 4 days per week – limited remote work opportunities can be authorized due to mission-critical requirements and TS/SCI clearance.
Salary Range: $155,000 - $165,000+ (depending on experience and qualifications)
Requirements:
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance eligibility on day one.
• Master's degree in Engineering, a scientific discipline, or other relevant technical field from an accredited college or university
• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting systems engineering, program management, GPS/PNT operations, or related national security initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience providing engineering, operational, or programmatic support for GPS and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) initiatives within the U.S. Government.
• Strong knowledge of GPS, alternative and resilient PNT solutions, and their application across Communications, Navigation, Surveillance (CNS), Air Traffic Management (ATM), critical infrastructure, military operations, and national security systems.
• Experience supporting interagency coordination, executive-level engagements, and Federal Government programs, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, operational, and policy communities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, including experience developing and presenting briefings, reports, decision papers, and other executive-level materials for senior government officials and interagency leadership forums.
Preferred
• Prior military experience at the O-4 to O-5 officer level (Major, Lieutenant Colonel, or equivalent) or E-7 to E-9 senior enlisted level (Master Sergeant, Senior Master Sergeant, Chief Master Sergeant, Chief Petty Officer, Senior Chief Petty Officer, or Master Chief Petty Officer), with experience leading complex technical, operational, or strategic initiatives.
• Previous experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Commerce (DOC), Intelligence Community, or other Federal agencies involved in GPS, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), national security, space, spectrum, or related mission areas.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Policy Analyst will provide strategic systems engineering, program management, and interagency coordination support to the National Coordination Office (NCO) for Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) within the Department of Commerce. This role serves as a key advisor supporting national GPS and PNT initiatives through technical analysis, executive communications, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. The position requires extensive experience working with senior government leaders, technical subject matter experts, and interagency partners to develop executive-level briefings, reports, and policy recommendations while supporting the execution of mission-critical national security programs. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in GPS/PNT technologies, program execution, and the ability to translate complex technical and operational topics into clear, actionable information for senior leadership.
