Theater Missile Warning Subject Matter Expert (SME)
The Theater Missile Warning (TMW) SME provides operational and technical expertise supporting the Theater Event System (TES) and missile warning mission. This position supports mission analysis, command-level operations, policy and guidance development, and evaluation of historical missile warning events.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Theater Missile Warning experience within the Theater Event System (TES).
Combatant Command or headquarters-level staff experience.
Experience with end-user display systems, including GCCS-J, PDS-M, and TRS Dashboard.
Knowledge of OPIR concepts and performance characteristics.
Experience analyzing historical missile warning events.
Ability to draft formal guidance, policy, and mission-type orders.
Familiarity with restricted/limited distribution events and events of special interest.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently on mission-critical projects.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Highly Desired
10+ years of TMW/TES experience.
5+ years of Combatant Command staff experience.
Experience applying Intelligence Community (IC) products to the TMW mission.
Knowledge of IBS communications architecture and operations.
Crew operations experience with SBIRS MCS, JTAGS, or OBAC.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
