Applications Engineer V (SharePoint) / Team Lead - Active Top-Se

Suvi is looking for an Applications Engineer V to work in Washington, DC. We are seeking an experienced senior developer and team lead to join our innovative team. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our eForms solutions and leading a talented group of developers.

Responsibilities

Agile Leadership:

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to a team of two developers.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
• Collaborate with product owners and project managers.
• Play a critical role in architecture, design, and development decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using the ScrumBan agile approach.
• Assist in implementing and sustaining agile structures and velocity.
• Act as the team's Scrum Master.
• Help to manage team projects.

eForms Development:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain eForms using tools such as Adobe Professional, Adobe Experience Manager Designer, and SharePoint.
• Enhance existing eForms to meet 508 compliance standards.
• Test eForms for 508 compliance using screen readers (e.g., JAWS).

Expertise and Support:

• Provide expert knowledge on deprecation standards and processes.
• Lead in the proper migration of sites to newer versions of SharePoint.
• Offer ongoing helpdesk support, investigating and troubleshooting eForms-related issues.
• Respond to user inquiries promptly and resolve reported issues.

Agile Coaching:

• Assist analysts and developers in implementing and sustaining Kanban agile approach.
• Conduct sessions to educate analysts and developers on agile/Scrum processes, including backlog management, point assessments, story creation, and the establishment of the Definition of Done.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Experience with Agile/Kanban software development methodologies.
• Active Scrum Master Certification.
• Adobe forms development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with a variety of eForms solutions.
• Experience with 508 compliance and compliance reading tools like JAWS.
• Experience in Implementation and Sustainment Support to include version updates and patching.
• Experience migrating from SharePoint 2013 to 2019.
• 5+ hours of official training in AEM Designer and Adobe Professional within the last year.
• 2+ years of experience creating dynamic forms in AEM Designer and Adobe Professional.
• 5+ hours of official training on SharePoint site creation and editing (On-Premises and SharePoint Online).

Preferred Experience:

• Experience leading small to mid-size Agile development teams.
• Experience managing software development projects.
• Experience working in with federal organizations.
