Summary:
• Deliver Tier 2 through Tier 4 support for hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS environments.
• Engineer, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and VMware virtualization solutions.
• Support configuration standards, Active Directory, Group Policy, and system monitoring using Splunk.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 8+ years
• Total Compensation: $314k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Provide in-depth Tier 2 through Tier 4 support and resolution for technology products, applications, and hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
• Lead and execute engineering efforts across Windows and Linux servers, workstations, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Build, configure, and maintain Windows server environments in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and on-premises data centers.
• Perform Tier 3 engineering and support for virtualization platforms, virtual servers, virtual desktops, and automation workflows.
• Conduct data center management operations, including physical capacity management, hardware commissioning, racking, cabling, and decommissioning.
• Deploy, administer, and maintain configuration baselines, Active Directory, and Group Policy in accordance with operational security posture.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and utilization metrics using Splunk and alert stakeholders when thresholds are met.
• Coordinate technical projects, conduct risk assessments, manage requirements via ServiceNow, and de-conflict implementation activities.
