Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a Microelectronics Portfolio Analyst, you’ll bring in-depth understanding and expertise to support a senior defense client in the strategy development, implementation planning, and acquisition, transition, and resource-related assessments for microelectronics technologies, program strategies, and military utilization of microelectronic devices. You’ll apply leading-edge principles and concepts to provide expert technical, acquisition, and program support, working with a range of experts spanning the strategy and technology domain to enable secure and trusted access to state-of-the-art microelectronics technologies. You’ll complete decision analysis for addressing complex DoD acquisition and investment problems, providing recommendations, executing plans to optimize state-of the-art microelectronic technologies portfolio investments, and reducing enterprise risk. You’ll engage in variety of internal and external technical working groups and governance bodies.
You Have:
• Experience with the development and/or acquisition of military technological capabilities enabled through microelectronics (e.g., computing and data centers, telecommunications, medical equipment, avionics, radar systems, guidance controls, space systems, industrial robotics equipment)
• Experience as a self starter, effectively executing the action and staff officer role on OSD, Joint Staff, or Service/Agency-level headquarter staff including developing strategies, decision briefs, and information papers and analyzing policy documents for the DoD
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate client and stakeholder requirements, perform proactively while paying strict attention to detail, and work with minimum oversight
• Ability to perform technical assessments of microelectronics technologies, develop technology or investment trends and reports, and make key recommendations to the client
• Ability to craft effective and functional strategies for microelectronics access that meet the needs of multiple agencies and stakeholders
• Knowledge of the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and either the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) or Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
• HS Diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
• Experience working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, integrating and incorporating detailed technical data from multiple team members into executive-level decision-making products, and communicating the findings, insights, and recommendations to senior-level clients effectively
• Expertise in writing and synthesizing data from multiple sources into comprehensive technical documents that are easy to comprehend
• Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Knowledge of defense and Government microelectronics needs and requirements, trends of microelectronics device usage within the community, and various stakeholder roles, responsibilities, and objectives within the microelectronics domain
Clearance: TS/SCI clearance is required
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $130-$155K (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
