Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a Special Access Program (SAP) Management Specialist, you’ll provide access control and common access support to an Office of the Secretary of War office for both documentation and meetings, facilitating controlled access by employing enhanced security measures to strictly enforce need-to-know and ensuring safeguarding and access requirements. You will also bring in-depth understanding and expertise to support a senior defense client in the strategy development, implementation planning, and acquisition, transition, and resource-related assessments for space control systems, programs, and concepts. You’ll complete decision analysis for addressing DoD acquisition and investment problems, providing recommendations, executing plans to optimize portfolio investments, and reducing enterprise risk. You’ll evaluate existing space control systems to identify operational deficiencies and network performance improvements. You’ll monitor the development and experimental execution of emerging capabilities and assist with the collection and analysis of after actions and lessons learned information that will be used to develop and deliver future capabilities for the warfighter. You’ll engage in variety of internal and external technical working groups and governance bodies.
You Have:
• Experience efficiently facilitating controlled access using the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) and the Secure Integration Cloud (SIC)
• Experience effectively executing the action and staff officer role on OSW, Joint Staff, or Service/Agency-level headquarter staff including developing decision briefs and information papers and analyzing policy documents for the DoW
• Experience with the development and/or acquisition of military space capabilities
• Knowledge of space control objectives and goals
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate client and stakeholder requirements, perform proactively while paying strict attention to detail, and work with minimum oversight
• Knowledge of the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and either the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) or Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
• HS Diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
• Experience working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, integrating and incorporating detailed technical data from multiple team members into executive-level decision-making products, and communicating the findings, insights, and recommendations to senior-level clients effectively
• Experience with implementing, modernizing, and transitioning space control technologies
• Experience with Program Management or Capability Portfolio Management
• Expertise in writing and synthesizing data from multiple sources into comprehensive technical documents that are easy to comprehend
• Expertise undertaking analytical activities for US government acquisition programs, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, test and evaluation, trade studies, or architecture design per US government processes
• Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $125-$150K (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
