Job Description
Day-to-Day:
• Provide architectural design, analysis, and consulting support for Navy, Marine Corps, and other federal facilities
• Support MILCON projects, renovations, demolitions, facility development, and space utilization initiatives
• Perform architectural programming, concept development, and space planning
• Conduct code compliance reviews and sustainable design integration
• Review A/E design packages, specifications, cost estimates, RFPs, and technical documentation
• Evaluate drawings and technical submittals for compliance with UFC, NAVFAC, and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, design charrettes, planning sessions, and site investigations
• Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance efforts
• Present findings, recommendations, and design rationale to leadership and project stakeholders

This individual will provide high-level architectural expertise across a portfolio of military and government projects, including new construction, renovations, facility planning, and modernization efforts. The Senior Architect will lead design reviews, ensure compliance with federal criteria and building codes, coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This role is ideal for a seasoned architecture professional who enjoys complex facility projects, stakeholder engagement, and contributing to mission-critical infrastructure supporting defense operations.
