Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, test, and sustain Java-based applications supporting large-scale distributed computing environments.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and operations in an Agile framework.
• Design and integrate containerized and microservices-based solutions within Linux and AWS cloud environments.
• Implement modern CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code practices for high-availability systems.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $271k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain Java, C, and C++ applications powering large-scale compute clusters.
• Build and extend integrations utilizing COTS/GOTS tools, Spring Framework, NiFi, Hadoop, Accumulo, and MongoDB.
• Automate tasks and dataflows using Python and Bash scripting in UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Deploy, manage, and scale microservices within containerized environments using Kubernetes and AWS services.
• Perform code and architecture reviews, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Develop and execute comprehensive software test plans, integration tests, and automated test scripts.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and IaC deployments while adhering to rigorous security and compliance standards.
• Provide operational troubleshooting, production monitoring, and Tier III on-call engineering support.
