Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and test robust backend Java services and RESTful APIs in enterprise Linux environments.
• Design, architect, and enhance complex software systems utilizing Spring, Hibernate, and relational databases.
• Drive modern DevOps and Agile engineering practices using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $301k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics and novel algorithm development.
• Architect backend services and REST APIs using Java, the Spring framework, and Hibernate in Linux environments.
• Provide critical input on system software design, architecture, hardware/software trade-offs, and COTS/GOTS tool integration.
• Deploy, configure, and orchestrate cloud infrastructure using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Execute unit and integration testing, analyze problem reports, and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices.
• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework utilizing Git and automated continuous integration pipelines.
