This position is for a Web Developer 1 at our Annapolis Junction, MD location. The Web Developer 1 will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members to create user-friendly web solutions
• Implement responsive design to ensure optimal viewing on various devices
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve performance and user experience
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience in web development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Strong understanding of server-side templating languages and JavaScript libraries
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools
