Access Control Specialist (Part-Time)

Job Description

• Observe and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Make periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserve order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Control access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
• Approve access and Create Badges for Employees and Non-Employee Cleared Long-Term Visitors
• Prepare logs and reports as required (e.g. Incident Reports, Alarm Response Reports, etc.)
• Receive and direct telephone calls and relay conversation and pertinent messages to others.
• Schedule conference rooms upon request.
• Perform all front desk/reception duties on a daily basis

Applicants may choose from the following available shifts:

* Friday:10:00PM - 6:00AM
* Saturday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM
* Saturday: 10:00PM - 6:00AM
* Sunday: 2:00PM - 10:00PM

Additional shifts may be available for those interested in picking up extra hours.

A minimum of two shifts per month is required.
