Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide cybersecurity system software development support to the customer in accordance with NSWCPD System Engineering Process (SEP). Development to include design and implementation of software with development and execution of unit tests for Operational Technology (OT) systems.
- Perform software security analysis on software baselines and source code.
- Establish and maintain configuration control of software, hardware, and containers.
- Support development and application of Machine Learning techniques to identify cybersecurity-critical data elements from technical documents and other sources of information.
- Develop, evaluate, update, and review technical documentation 9inclduing manuals, system diagrams, system drawings, signal flow diagrams, logistics documents and data sets, and operating procedures)
- Support development and review of drawing packages representing shipboard and land-based test facility configurations.
- Support design, development, and implementation of DevSecOps solutions for software products deployed to laboratory, test facility, or shipboard environments. Support shall include use of software build automation and dependency management tools as well as static and dynamic vulnerability scanning tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
- 3+ years of professional experience developing software using one or more high-level languages such as Java, Python, Go, or C++.
- 2+ years of professional experience applying software development methodologies, including Agile and/or DevOps/DevSecOps in a professional or academic setting.
- Must possess an IAT Level II IAW DOD 8570.01-M qualifying certification
- Must meet at least 1 of the following:
- 3+ years managing, maintaining, and supporting software build tools and revision control systems
- 3+ years performing software testing and QA duties (ad-hoc, unit, performance, regression, or smoke testing)
- 3+ years developing software using cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.) in a professional or academic setting.
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship required and an active or current Secret Clearance or ability to obtain prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move up/down ladders, along narrow companionways, and lift and carry equipment and tools weighing 25 lbs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and or virtual
