  • Serves as the Operations Chief and the Deputy Director responsible for the execution of a Secretary of the Army program providing support to a myriad of diverse Activities.

  • Serves as the Operations Chief and the Deputy Director responsible for the execution of a Secretary of the Army program providing support to a myriad of diverse
    Activities.

  • Provides initial instruction and guidance regarding the requirements, parameters, and suspense’s.

  • Analyzes, recommends, and reviews proposals concerning select Army support.

  • Recommends and implements U.S. Army policy as it relates to program operational support.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the Directorate.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based upon a Tier 5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.

  • Temporary duty (TDY) Travel will be less than 25% of the work schedule.

  • Must consent to take a Counter-Intelligence polygraph.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:

1) Experience managing multi-disciplinary program operations while providing comprehensive technical oversight across operations, security, logistics, and signature management. AND

2) Experience leading strategic and operational and planning to design and execute complex projects and national level missions. AND

3) Experience evaluating operational feasibility and cost to develop enterprise-level policy and deliver recommendations to senior leadership.



This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-14).
