Insight Global is actively hiring three Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for a top cybersecurity and defense client sitting onsite at the Pentagon.

This individual will support a highly secure mission environment by providing system security engineering, cybersecurity risk assessment, and security architecture expertise. The ideal candidate will lead technical efforts across the full system lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through deployment and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards. This role requires hands-on experience administering HBSS, ACAS, ePO, Security Center, and Nessus platforms, performing vulnerability management activities, implementing STIGs, and supporting secure enterprise infrastructure. The candidate will play a critical role in identifying security risks, driving remediation efforts, and maintaining the security posture of mission-critical systems.

Minimum Job Requirements include:
Must-Haves:
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Security+ Certification
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
• Strong understanding of systems engineering, design, and architecture
• Experience performing cybersecurity risk assessments and security engineering activities
• Experience with HBSS administration and maintenance
• Experience with ACAS administration and vulnerability management
• Experience building, deploying, maintaining, and patching:
o HBSS Windows Servers
o ACAS Red Hat Linux 7.9 & 8 Servers
o ePO Servers
o Tenable Security Center Servers
o Nessus Servers
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and ACAS scan results
• Knowledge of DISA processes for HBSS and ACAS licensing and kickstart ISOs
• Experience configuring McAfee policies and managing McAfee modules through ePO
• Experience applying STIGs to:
o Windows Operating Systems
o ACAS RHEL Servers
• Experience running SCAP scans on Windows and Linux servers
• Knowledge of RedHat 7.9/8 RPM updates and offline repository management
• Experience troubleshooting Security Center and Nessus scanner issues
• Ability to identify system security risks across networks, operating systems, hardware, and protocols
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative

Plusses:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience supporting DoD or National Military Command Center (NMCC) environments
• Advanced cybersecurity architecture experience
• Experience deploying Rogue Sensors and identifying rogue devices/subnets
• Experience supporting highly secure enterprise environments
• Additional cybersecurity certifications beyond Security+


Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this roles so exact pay will vary based on a number of factors including total years of experience, depth on knowledge and level of expertise, and clearance level. However, we anticipate paying 140K - 175K as well provide health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.
