Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Provide operational software application support and systems engineering within enterprise Linux environments.
• Ensure system stability and optimal performance by diagnosing technical issues and troubleshooting software errors.
• Manage and monitor modern data and storage technologies including Apache NiFi, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker, and AWS.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Total Compensation: $254k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Serve as a key point of contact for operational software support, troubleshooting complex application errors, and executing system health checks.
• Start, stop, and diagnose services running in Linux and AWS EC2 environments.
• Support and maintain systems utilizing Apache NiFi, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Apache Tomcat.
• Proactively monitor application performance and database status to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Track issues, manage workflows, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve software defects and participate in after-hours on-call support as needed.
