Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Support day-to-day platform operations and cloud infrastructure across complex Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 operational support.
• Handle system provisioning, network analysis, and DNS administration to ensure mission stability.
• Work with container, orchestration, and distributed technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Provide Tier 1–3 operational support for cloud-based analytic platforms and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and perform system maintenance across Linux environments.
• Manage RedHat/CentOS provisioning using kickstart.
• Perform network analysis utilizing tools such as nmap and tcpdump.
• Administer DNS configurations, DHCP, and hosts files.
• Support containerized and distributed platform technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo.
• Monitor and optimize platform health using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Develop automation and administrative scripts using Python and Bash.
• Utilize configuration management tools such as Salt and Ansible.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve system performance issues and support on-call operational requirements.
