DoW Contracts and FOIA Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, evaluating, and improving organizational processes while ensuring compliance with DOW and Space Force FOIA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between contracting office, Portfolio Acquisition Executive Action Group, and other Space Access organizations in response to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
• Receive, review, redact, and analyze new and backlogged Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to ensure lawful disclosure of Space Force records.
  
  Skills Required
  
  
  • At least nine (9) equivalent years of experience performing Acquisition Management and Planning activities in the government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or profit / non-profit government support / development Contractor arena. Five (5) years shall include duties/assignments specifically in support of space programs.
  • Experience responding to FOIA request for large government organizations
  • Proficient in the use of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Task Management Tool (TMT)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently, as well as with at team, on time-sensitive high visibility tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance is required.
  • US citizenship (required).
    
    Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000, DOE

    Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
