Job Description
Qualifying Individual would serve as a senior advisor who helps offices understand, evaluate, govern, assess viability of tools developed commercially and implement, and drive adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve mission performance and workforce productivity.
Position Overview
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Adoption Senior Technical Advisor serves as a principal advisor to leadership for identifying, evaluating, assessing, and implementing Artificial Intelligence capabilities that enhance mission performance, workforce effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
This position is focused on AI adoption rather than AI development. The role does not require building AI models, developing machine learning algorithms, conducting data science research, or engineering large language models. Instead, the advisor helps organizations understand, assess viability of tools, implement, govern, and responsibly adopt commercially available AI technologies that support mission objectives.
The successful candidate will possess significant experience understanding and conducting AI adoption. The individual should also demonstrate an understanding of the intelligence community, and the unique governance and security requirements associated with technology adoption within the intelligence environment.
The advisor will provide strategic guidance to executive leadership regarding AI opportunities, risks, governance frameworks, workforce readiness, implementation approaches, and enterprise adoption strategies aligned with customer priorities.
Experience Requirements
The individual shall possess substantial progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following areas:
Digital modernization and technology adoption
Business process improvement and operational optimization
Knowledge management and workforce enablement
Information technology strategy and governance
Artificial Intelligence implementation and enterprise adoption
Federal governance, compliance, and risk management
Intelligence community missions, processes, and workflows
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
Expertise in enterprise AI adoption strategies.
Knowledge of commercially available AI platforms, generative AI capabilities, automation technologies, and productivity-enhancement tools applicable to federal and intelligence community environments.
Experience assessing AI use cases and aligning technology investments with mission requirements and organizational objectives.
Understanding of federal AI governance, Responsible AI principles, cybersecurity requirements, privacy protections, records management obligations, and information assurance practices.
Experience briefing senior executives and stakeholders on technology opportunities, investment decisions, risks, and implementation strategies.
Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement, build consensus, and overcome organizational barriers to technology adoption.
Experience developing AI roadmaps, implementation plans, operating models, success metrics, and maturity assessments.
