Job Description
We are seeking an AI Requirements & Implementation Manager to lead the translation of mission needs into practical, secure, and scalable AI capabilities across the national security enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of mission operations, AI/ML, product management, and implementation, working closely with government customers and senior leadership.
The ideal candidate understands both the realities of national security missions and the opportunities and limitations of modern AI. Candidate would define operational requirements, guide implementation, and ensure AI solutions deliver measurable mission impact while meeting security, policy, governance, and user requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with national security customer and mission owners to identify operational challenges where AI can provide meaningful advantage.
Translate mission needs into clear AI requirements, use cases, workflows, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, user interviews, and operational assessments with government and mission stakeholders.
Evaluate AI capabilities, including generative AI, machine learning, agentic systems, and decision-support tools for applicability to mission requirements.
Work to move AI capabilities from concept through deployment and operational adoption.
Develop implementation roadmaps that account for data availability, technical integration, security constraints, classification requirements, infrastructure, user workflows, and organizational readiness.
Establish metrics to evaluate AI solutions based on mission outcomes, user adoption, accuracy, reliability, speed, and operational value.
Identify gaps between existing AI capabilities and mission requirements and drive prioritization of enhancements.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical government stakeholders, translating complex AI concepts into actionable decisions.
Experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, knowledge systems, computer vision.
