Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced RF systems and technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge communications, radar, and electronic warfare programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate brings strong RF design experience, hands-on laboratory testing expertise, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. This engineer will lead RF development efforts, support system validation activities, and help drive high-performance solutions from concept through deployment.
Responsibilities
Lead RF design and development activities for advanced communications, radar, and RF systems
Design, analyze, and optimize RF circuits, components, and subsystems
Perform RF modeling, simulation, and performance analysis
Conduct laboratory testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and validation of RF hardware
Utilize spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes to evaluate system performance
Develop and execute RF test plans, procedures, and reports
Support signal processing efforts associated with RF design and testing
Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and manufacturing teams
Present technical findings to engineering leadership and customers
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across engineering projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of RF engineering experience
Experience with RF design and development
Hands-on RF hardware testing and troubleshooting experience
Experience using:
Spectrum Analyzers
Network Analyzers
Signal Generators
Oscilloscopes
Knowledge of electromagnetic theory and RF propagation
Understanding of communication systems and signal processing concepts
Experience with RF simulation and analysis tools
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
